At Just we’re a business full of ambition and we currently have a great opportunity to join our Defined Benefits (DB) team as a Business Development Support on a permanent basis from our London office.
The Business Development team within DB are responsible for managing the relationships with our Employee Benefit Consultancies, working on DB transactions for pension schemes from initial request for quotation, presenting to Trustees and helping them through the process. This role has been created due to the increased number of opportunities we are seeing in the market (and with existing clients) and the role will support the Business Development Manager in achieving profitable business for Just.
You will provide logistical support to the Business Development team and in particular assist in the process for agreeing/declining quotations by assessing already made commitments and also taking accurate minutes of work planning meetings and pricing committees.
You’ll assist in the pre and post quotation process as required and get involved in drafting quotation documents, re-negotiating delivery dates and ensuring sub-teams are delivering to time.
You will support the organisation of meetings on behalf of the Business Development team, with relevant internal, external, new and existing clients and potential future clients providing briefing packs for all the meetings.
Furthermore you will support the work required to assess opportunities with our existing clients, providing support for all the Business Development Managers and providing MI requirements for the wider team.
Finally you will assist in ensuring competitor analysis is continually up to date, including understanding the latest transactions that our competitors have completed and also assist the Marketing manager in delivery of marketing materials for Defined Benefits, e.g. website, literature.
•Excellent communication skills – with the ability to communicate information across different media (e.g., telephone, letter, e-mail) at all levels both internally and externally

•Ability to self-organise to achieve objectives within timescales
•High level of initiative and self-motivation
•Previous Financial Services experience would be beneficial
