A great opportunity has become available within our Finance Team based in Reigate.
The role of Finance Analyst will be to assist the Group Expenses Manager in the management of the Group’s expense base by controlling the month end close process, project accounting and the provision of reporting.
●Preparation and posting of central costs into the general ledger ensuring compliance with Group policies and relevant accounting standards.
●Run the monthly project accounting process, allocating costs to the appropriate projects, including application of the capitalisation policy.
●Take ownership of the expenses month end close, ensuring adherence to the timetable and that expenses are reported accurately and variances are analysed and explained.
●Preparation and ownership of balance sheet reconciliations with appropriate explanations, highlighting unreconciled items. Ensure unreconciled items are investigated and cleared in a timely manner.
●Prepare and develop monthly reporting of the Group’s expense base with appropriate analysis and explanations.
●Deal with expense related queries from the external auditors, providing supporting evidence and clear explanations as required.
●Complete ad-hoc requests as requested.
●Support the Group Expenses Manager and other team members as required.
