National Account Director

Field Based

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time- 35 hours

We’re looking for an exceptional National Account Director  lead and deliver our sales activities with a defined panel strategic supplier and National Accounts, accelerate growth, and bring our Retail Distribution vision to life.

You will working closely with the Director of Retail Distribution to build and maintain influential relationships with panel of key National, Network and Strategic suppliers to across the UK Intermediary market that lead to Just being recognised as the “Retirement Expert”

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain deep and commercially viable relationships with panel of National accounts.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with identified key individuals within the target accounts with a view to achieving shared objectives and meaningful long‑term partnerships

  • Ensure Just products and Services are included in panels and / or within firm propositions

  • Create and execute robust account business plans to ensure delivery of sales objectives leveraging detailed MI, insights, and feedback to meet and exceed sales targets

  • Work closely with the Development and Events Director and our marketing team to design, build and co-ordinate activities that execute our strategic partnership agreements

  • Analyse data and market trends to identify opportunities and implement solutions that strengthen commercial outcomes

  • Position Just as a valued business partner, not just a product provider, by working with the panel of accounts to gain insights into future market developments brought about by legislation, regulation, and technology.

  • To work a “Top down” distribution strategy to support the overall delivery of Just Retail Distribution Strategy.

  • Evaluate, review and as required make recommendations for change to the internal support functions e.g. quotations, policy administration etc. in order to achieve the required third-party service standards and to set Just apart from other providers

Skills and Experience

  • QCA Level 4   

  • Proven and successful results focused record in an intermediary both business planning and sales development role, working directly with Network, Nationals and Key strategic suppliers (e.g Simply Biz, Bankhall, PFS, SOLLA)

  • Has strong network of connections in intermediary industry across key strategic suppliers

  • Has experience in building key strategic campaigns and execution of marketing agreement activities across the UK Intermediary market

  • Strong understanding of the UK Retail advisory market and the key enablers and supplier groups

  • Experience building and execution of successful key supplier business plans

  • High level of awareness of competitor activities in the Uk intermediary advice market

  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and relationship management skills

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
