Purpose of the role
As Finance Operations Manager you will support the ‘Head of Finance Operations & Regulatory Reporting’ and ‘Senior Banking & Finance Operations Manager, with the financial integrity of the trading subsidiaries within the Just Group (life, non-life, distribution, and management services companies).
This role will be pivotal, ensuring that the financial results are complete, accurate and with appropriate controls, reconciliations and analysis in place.

Key Responsibilities
Working closely with LTM Partners across the Group on new and existing projects & implementing new processes, with particular focus on Third Party Relationships
Deputise for Senior Banking & Finance Operations Manager
Continuous improvement of processes
Adherence to SOX controls, capturing updates and new controls where necessary
Assist in managing the external audit relationship for finance outputs subject to audit review.
Implement changes to processes where appropriate to reflect the increasing size and complexity of the business and to reduce operational risk for the finance team
Ensure that risks regarding the results production and financial operations are reported and understood
Ensure appropriate controls and reconciliations are in place to support the accuracy and financial integrity of the results
Motivate, manage and develop a high performing team
What we are looking for
Professional Accountancy Qualification, e.g. ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, AAT is essential
Financial Services experience is desirable
Strong background in managing a team with differing levels of experience
Experience with process automation
Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
Excellent knowledge of data management and analysis.
Knowledge of financial analysis and controls.
Accomplished problem analysis and pro-active resolution skills.
Understanding of the group’s customers and products.
Excellent verbal and written communication
