Purpose 

The Operational Resilience Coordinator supports the Operational Resilience Manager by maintaining documentation, tracking activities, and assisting with communication and reporting. This role ensures the smooth delivery of the operational resilience programme and helps the business meet its resilience objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities 

  • Maintain accurate records of important business services, resilience plans, test schedules, and outcomes across systems and repositories.

  • Coordinate and track annual Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) attestations, including issuing reminders, collecting responses, and updating completion logs.

  • Organise meetings, workshops, and scenario exercises, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and managing attendance.

  • Log and monitor actions from resilience activities, exercises, and audits, ensuring timely follow up and escalation where needed.

  • Prepare and distribute operational resilience reports, dashboards, and management information for internal and regulatory audiences.

  • Support communication with business, IT, and risk teams by distributing materials, updates, and reminders.

  • Maintain and update documentation repositories such as SharePoint, ensuring materials remain current and accessible.

  • Assist with evidence gathering for audits, regulatory requests, and supervisory examinations, coordinating inputs and maintaining records.

What we’re looking for 

  • Experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role, ideally within operational resilience, risk, business continuity, or a related function.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to engage with colleagues at all levels.

  • Confident preparing agendas, taking minutes, and supporting workshops or group discussions.

  • Ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail with a structured approach to record keeping and action tracking.

  • Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of operational resilience and related processes.

  • Experience supporting process improvements or helping to embed new procedures.
