Product Manager

Location: London – hybrid 50%

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 35 hours

Role Purpose

The Product Manager will own the end‑to‑end delivery of the Consumer Integration Programme — a multi‑phase strategic initiative spanning multiple systems, processes, and customer journeys. Acting as a single point of accountability, the role will define scope, set priorities, and coordinate delivery across the two consumer business teams.

The role ensures clear requirements, effective decision‑making, and consistent execution across all integration milestones, while safeguarding business‑as‑usual product performance. It also provides essential continuity and additional capacity during a period of increased delivery demand.

Key Accountabilities

  • Owning the product direction, scope, and delivery roadmap for all Consumer integration workstreams

  • Shaping and maintaining prioritised backlogs and clearly articulated requirements for engineering delivery

  • Driving alignment across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Consumer business teams

  • Overseeing delivery risks, dependencies, and issues across a multi‑phase integration programme

  • Preserving continuity of product insight and context throughout the integration lifecycle

  • Balancing integration delivery with business‑as‑usual product performance and user experience

  • Embedding scalable ways of working, governance, and documentation to support long‑term product capability

Examples of Key Activities

  • Define and document end‑to‑end user journeys, requirements, and acceptance criteria for integration points

  • Facilitate planning, scoping, and prioritisation sessions with Product and Engineering stakeholders

  • Maintain and continuously refine a clear, outcome‑focused product backlog

  • Lead sprint planning, refinement, and delivery ceremonies alongside Engineering teams

  • Track progress against milestones, actively managing risks and cross‑team dependencies

  • Provide clear decisions and direction to keep delivery moving at pace

  • Coordinate with Operations, Security, Technology Operations, and other stakeholders to align plans

  • Produce clear documentation and progress updates for leadership and programme stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong product ownership skills, including backlog management and delivery prioritisation within a D2C environment

  • Ability to translate complex business and technical needs into clear, actionable requirements

  • Proven experience delivering cross‑functional, technical initiatives as a Product Manager or Product Owner

  • Experience working on complex system or process integrations

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align multiple teams and organisations

  • Confidence navigating dependencies, trade‑offs, and delivery planning in evolving environments

  • Solid understanding of agile product discovery and delivery frameworks

  • Experience balancing business‑as‑usual delivery alongside major transformational work

Desirable

  • Product management certifications (e.g., CSPO, APM, Pragmatic).
