Investment Settlements Analyst

London – Hybrid (min 50% office based)

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Investment Settlements Analyst, to support the daily settlements activity across Just’s investment portfolio of fixed income assets and derivatives, which sits within the broader Investment Operations & Reporting function. As an Investment Settlements Analyst, you will support the wider team in managing and monitoring the settlement of public and private assets, repo’s and derivatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and monitor settlements and ongoing cash flow activity for public assets, private assets and derivatives within the Treasury Management System

  • Oversee the daily derivative cashflows as well as entitlements, investigating any discrepancies between ourselves and the bank counterparty

  • Coupon claims with bond collateral counterparties

  • Cash management within custody bank accounts

  • Ad-hoc activities within back office

  • Challenge and improve existing controls and processes

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience with settlements, and knowledge of derivatives and securities

  • Knowledge of corporate and government bonds

  • Technology software skills to utilise Treasury Management System

  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

  • Advanced level of experience with Microsoft Excel

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and a good application of financial controls
