We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly People / HR team, as a People Operations Advisor, to support our business and our People delivery model and deliver a seamless operational service to colleagues, cover a full range of employee life cycle process and policies.
As an People Operations Advisor, you will coordinate and implement a programme of activities, aimed at supporting the function’s continued legal and regulatory compliance and operational risk responsibilities
This is a great opportunity for someone with People/HR experience already, looking to grow and develop their experience in People Operations in a FTSE 250 business

Key Responsibilities:
Act as a right first time People advice and administration service through multi-channel contact
Working with the broader People team to put our customers at the heart of our service offering
Maintain Workday records as they relate to new starters and existing colleague workplace changes
Create and deliver of new joiner documentation
Manage of new starter right to work documentation
Provide support to payroll and the provision and maintenance of benefits
Be the first line policy guidance to colleagues and line managers, escalating as appropriate to the right team
Support the Employee Relations Team as required including note taking, documentation and triaging cases
Support business organisational change activity including facilitating diaries for consultation and note taking
Be involved in regulatory compliance activities as required including supporting Senior Management & Certification Regime and the Visa Process, as well as supporting Data Subject Access Requests
Skills and Experience:
Demonstrates knowledge and / or understanding of several of the regulatory and compliance responsibilities within HR
Previous knowledge and experience in processes and procedures, preferably within HR.
Previous knowledge and experience of developing and documenting HR processes and procedures and the understanding of the importance of compliance with legal, regulatory and risk matters.
Experience in managing small projects or being involved and contributing to the completing of projects, so they understand what is required in a project management role.
Interested in, and can demonstrate attention to / understanding of, the detail.
Demonstrates an organised, methodical and diligent approach to work.
Demonstrates an analytical and critical approach to their work – looking for improvements and challenging the way things are done if there are alternative approaches to consider.
Takes a proactive, ‘can do’ approach to their work – demonstrates tenacity in resolving issues or finding ways around a blockage.
