If you’d like to become part of that journey then we have a great opportunity to join our HUB Executive team as our Workplace Managing Director, on a permanent basis from our Reigate office.
As a member of the HUB Group Executive team, you will take responsibly for creating and executing a full distribution and deployment strategy that will focus wholly on employers, scheme trustees, scheme advisers and workplace service suppliers.
The role will take responsibility for the evolution and fit for purpose of the Group’s workplace facing propositions including traditional guidance and advice solutions, digital advice and specialist services such as HUB Pension Solutions and HUB Pension Consulting. Key aspects of P&L delivery is a role requirement with some aspects of costs and regulated accountabilities being via a shared service model.
Creating, securing and developing relationships with the routes to market above together with trade and industry bodies which aid this will be central to the role as will developing close working relationships with the businesses marketing, PR and public policy teams.
You’ll contribute to business decisions and future business strategy as a member of the HPS leadership team and the role will have direct accountability for a number of business lines but will use shared development and support resources to ensure success.
The role will require cross Just Group liaison with senior managers working in a variety of functions but in particular those in the defined benefit de-risking insurance operation who work closely with large EBC’s and those in the financial intermediary sales team who work with a wide range of advice firms some of who offer corporate services to the workplace.
Skills & Experience we’re looking for
● Retail workplace financial services experience is essential and although an understanding of the at and in retirement sector would be an advantage this is not essential for the right highly adaptable candidate.
● Excellent understanding of the UK pensions market gained through corporate and/or trustee experience.
● Ability to generate new business through existing network and business development/ marketing activity.
● Strong communication and presentation skills.
● Ability to introduce and cross sell other propositions from within the HUB group.
● Ability to capture and interpret market and propositional insight.
