Governance and Technical Proposition Manager

London or Reigate – Hybrid (min 50% office based)

We have a brand new role within our Commercial and Propositions team. This role is ideal for candidates who wish to apply their technical expertise to a variety of projects. 

It will involve working on propositional change to evolve our existing products as well as supporting in the design and launch of new product

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with propositional owners and product development teams prior to products launching to ensure new product developments are permitted within the existing regulatory framework.

  • Work with product leads and development teams prior to products launching to ensure Governance practices are understood and adhered to.

  • Identifying and analysing regulatory change to understand the impact to the Retail business and its strategy.

  • Supporting with the ongoing governance responsibilities of our existing propositions.

  • Drafting summaries of the impact of regulatory change to key business stakeholders and the SLT within the agreed SLA.

  • Providing required reporting and briefings to internal committees within the specified timescales and following up on any actions after.

  • Supporting with escalated technical queries on our product range.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working within a technical team or in a technical role

  • Experience working in either Defined Contribution (DC) Pensions Market, Equity Release market or within a technical roles for wider investment products such as ISA’s or GIA’s

  • Able to understand and interpret the regulations and rules applicable to pensions.

  • Ability to summarise complex subjects for varying audiences

  • Able to engage and manage relationships with various stakeholders, including senior management.
