About the role
At Just, we rely on our IT systems and operation to help our business reach and succeed with customer. We’re seeking Technical Systems analyst who’s eager to use and grow his or her technological skills during a period of significant planned growth.
In this role, the successful individual will be to define and manage the transition of business and project requirements to technical requirements for the Platform and Operations teams, whether new, modified, or retired, from development and testing environments into live production.
This role is report directly to the Head of Service Operations and working with the leads and other teams throughout the department. You will also be working with peers across the engineering and change functions to ensure that new technologies and product suites are delivered on time, on budget and always with an eye on the in-life capabilities and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering:
Collaborate with business units and technical teams to manage the transition of business and project requirements to identify, define, and document technical changes and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of system access.
Technical Analysis:
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical requirements.
Analyse and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, feasibility, and conformity to standards
Solution Design:
Recommend improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems.
Assist with the design of software applications to meet both functional and technical requirements.
Collaboration:
Work closely with software and platform engineers to ensure requirements are implemented correctly and meet the stakeholder’s expectations.
Coordinate and liaise with other project team members to ensure all aspects of the project are in synchronization.
Testing and Implementation:
Assist the QA team in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, user acceptance, and operational acceptance testing.
Participate in the quality assurance process, including integration and system testing.
Documentation:
Create system documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
Maintain and update all system and process documentation as changes occur.
Training and Support:
Provide training to users and other stakeholders on new systems and features.
Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or technical questions; train end users and technical support staff as required.
Continuous Improvement:
Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective solution for system design.
Stay abreast of the latest developments in IT and systems analysis practices to ensure the company benefits from the latest innovations and best practices.
Skills and Experience
Experience as a Systems Analyst or in a related role.
Technical proficiency, with an understanding of technologies such as: Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and On-prem infrastructure (Server/Storage and Networks) Cloud patterns, PaaS, SaaS terraform
Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for liaising with stakeholders,
Ability to manage and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, from technical teams to senior management.
The capacity to address unforeseen challenges and issues that arise during the requirements and planning process.
Ability to analyse complex situations, derive insights, and make informed decisions.
Skills in negotiating resources, timelines, and priorities among various departments and teams
Capability to lead, motivate, and coordinate teams effectively to achieve desired outcomes
Ensuring that all aspects of requirements from documentation to execution, are carried out meticulously
Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in an evolving technology world
