Responsibilities
To work within a Centre of Excellence, deploying best practice, providing guidance to others and ensuring adherence to the governance model.
Support issue resolution and problem solving for existing automations in conjunction with Infrastructure and Help Desk teams as well as third parties.
Optimise automations to ensure efficiency, high completion rates and robust exception handling.
Maintain automations for software and other IT changes, making updates, testing and promoting into production.
To work collaboratively with operational project and business stakeholders to identify, develop and support automations in the business.
To assist with developing test plans and support the business with UAT
To continually review and assess the delivery and management of robotic processes to identify areas for improvement and reduce exceptions
To develop knowledge on RPA developments and other automation methods
Key Activities
Analysis of pipeline automations & creation of process documentation
Maintaining and reviewing the live automation estate to reduce exceptions and software updates or other IT changes
Testing of automations built by other team members
Working as part of a Centre of Excellence to promote best practice
Building experience with other automation tools such as Microsoft Power Platform
Skills & Experience
Demonstrable experience of delivering and supporting Blue Prism automations
Demonstrable experience of supporting agile delivery
Previous experience of working within a project / programme management environment
Knowledge of best practice for coding standards is desirable
Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform is desirable
Knowledge of other automation methods, C#, VB/VBA, SQL etc is desirable
Experience of project methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2)
Good attention to detail
Ability to support the development of an RPA best practice culture
Must be able to work on multiple projects & initiatives
Ability to work in a reactive and hands-on environment
Ability to quickly develop understanding of end to end business processes
Maintain in a collaborative and dynamic work ethic
Willingness to learn and continuously improve
